Why Memphis is in the Goodwin running

08:16 AM ET 07.18 | Had Memphis fielded a better football program, Shaq Goodwin might have less interest in the basketball program. When Goodwin told me his top four are Memphis, Alabama, Florida and Georgia because each school told him he can play both sports, my first thought was the Tigers were already out of the picture. But Goodwin, who plays tight end, pointed out he could make an "immediate impact" at Memphis, which I hadn't considered. Let's face it: Goodwin is a five-star basketball prospect. Though he's a load at tight end (6-foot-8, 230), he's not a ranked football prospect. Would he play football immediately at Alabama, Florida or Georgia? Probably not. I think that puts Memphis squarely in the picture.

If you are a 5 star in BB and not ranked in FB. Stick with BB. Besides UF is still the best BB school out of his choices and UF lacks size right now.

I'm leaner, but still would like to lose the last of my gut.....not sure I like gaining, but I'm writing it off to muscle.

Picked this thread to ask you since not as many would see it....was gonna FM you, but remembered you saying you hardly ever check those
