04:41 PM ET 07.18 | Very reliable sources from Cebu City said boxing icon Manny Pacquiao has finally dismissed Michael Koncz as his business advisor and manager of MP Promotions for a litany of missteps and blunders that has affected the boxing icon and his boxing promotional outfit.

It's about time Manny got rid of this guy. Maybe at the start of Manny's rise to superstardom it was ok to have this guy. He's better off taking care of business on his own with some advice from a couple of lawyers rather than have him.

Koncz was Arum's puppet and a damn liar and will probably end up working in Mayweather's corner now!

That clown always looked and came off as shady to me. He'll probably just find someone else's coat tails to ride.

This guy is a complete scumbag. He isn't that long of an advisor either. Glad to see him go.

There are times when a well versed and knowledgable fan disagrees with a fighter over the firing or replacing of a coach, manager, or trainer that the fan recognizes the fighter may have been sweet talked by a coniving would be replacement to gain control of the fighter and his money. However, I actually think that Manny has good instincts about how to best fulfill his own goals and it seems obvious that he does not have that same confidence in Koncz.

So, with that being the case, as it seems to be, the right thing to do is just what Manny did. After all, it's his life, his career and his personal goals that have made him the legend he is. So, my opinion remains that he's proven for a very long time that he's an expert at his profession and is right to do what he thinks is best for him.
