08:23 AM ET 07.19 | And the winner is ... Andrus Peat. It's time for Sporting News' annual recruiting rankings to come out and this year, in the spirit of our 125th anniversary, we've expanded the list from the top 100 recruits to the top 125. [No. 1: Peat,] 6-foot-7, 280 pounds, Corona Del Sol (Tempe, Ariz.). ... The question isn't which school has offered Arizona native Peat a scholarship, it is which BCS schools haven't. Several Pac-12 schools would love to keep him close to home. Nebraska, where his brother Todd Peat, Jr. signed in February, has also offered. "I just want to go to a school where I'm wanted bad," Peat said. "I really want a school that will recruit me hard, just a place that I fit in best. If it's halfway across the country ... I'll go there."

Hey kid, how about going to a school where you are "wanted good" instead of "wanted bad"? Those "wanted bad" posters at the Post Office don't always work out too well.

He will be visiting that school on Monday-Tuesday of next week. Stud. Connor Brewer is recruiting him hard too.

The rust colored cows seem to venturing beyond the borders a little more now. What gives?

Its the new MB. He has given the coaches the go ahead to go OOS now. Rarely ever happened before.

Wow, if he's loosening up I can't wait to see what the new OC has in mind. If that carries over, the offense could be fun to watch instead of painful.

We'll take him. We need him. All teams really need good defensive linemen.

QUOTE(#19):

No idea really other than most of his hires were from SEC country and they recruit across state lines all the time. MB's change was to hire coaches and then step back as opposed to meddling in everything.

FJJ, thanks that's what I thought.
