10:09 AM ET 07.23 | Braylon Edwards isn't going to jail. But he also knows that he may not be coming back to the Jets this season, either. Shortly after pleading guilty to drunken driving charges in Manhattan and accepting a fine and a handful of other punishments, Edwards left the building and told reporters that he would like to re-sign with the Jets.

Jail or Football...I see a theme forming here...

Braying **** and another Jest thread...I guess there is no other news happening in the NFL today.

Bunch of amateurs running the board. More important than 'justice', more important than 'tolerance' is CONSISTENCY, something FN has never, ever had.

To be fair - I can't think of a lot of justice (or tolerance, now that I think about it) systems that have...

Someone is reporting them. That"s the only time action is taken. and we know how to find out who the rats are!

For the right price, Braylon, I'm sure the J-E-T-S would be happy to have you back.

Whether that's your price or not...

LOL! Count Dooku, leader of the FN Vigilante Justice League and winner of the Sherlock Holmes FN Flagrancy Finder award.

I wasn't really holding any bets on the Jets keeping Edwards anyways. They've already made it clear that they're more interested in retaining Holmes, and if they had to pick one or the other, Edwards is out. Really, this just comes short of sealing the deal for him.

I think both Braylon and Cromartie are gone. It's a long shot but maybe Nnamdi is on the way if Cro goes. I'm not worried about who will catch the ball with Keller,Cotchery and Holmes(whom the Jets will sign I feel) and Jeremy Kerley who will make Brad Smith expendable. Their weakest position is linebacker where only David Harris is solid. I "CAN'T WAIT" for Bart Scott to live up to his hype.

Think Braylon is a great addition to this team. He is a JET and would be a big loss if he is not resigned. I actually perfer Braylon over Holmes. The fact is the toughness is what the JETS need. Taylor, Cromartie are expendable- not Braylon.

You will see this guy on the Pats if he goes! I hate to think about this...

July 24, 2011  10:39 AM ET

Maybe he can go back to the Browns and this time, actually catch some passes.

Re-sign with the jests? I'll drink to that.
