No way he's leaving. Much like in the Fabregas saga, Wenger still doesn't think the player wants to leave.

Don't tell CNN's Piers Morgan

Agreed. He's not going anywhere now. He leaves as a bosman after next season though. I can't see him tying up his future to Arsenal.

As far as Cesc goes, I just wish Arsene would give it up already. Just take the money and let the man go off to Barca. I am so tired of that drama...

Just sell them both and buy Eden Hazard and one (or two) central defenders. Even Wenger needs to spend money sometimes.

Though Liverpool has yet to announce it, an American TV report said LFC has signed U.S. U-18 forward Villyan Bijev

This upcoming Copa final is probably Pootie's hardest game of his life, yes.

Is this because of that one topless photoshoot thingy or whatever it was?

July 24, 2011 02:46 PM ET

I hope Uruguay scores relatively early, forcing Paraguay to play more offensively, the way they did in the first round, rather than for penalties.

According to Pootie, Miss Larissa Riquelme--Pootie's obsession--has agreed to be photographed completely nude if Paraguay wins Copa America. So, yes, you are on the right track.

Once again, Paraguay refuses to start Ortigoza and Estigarribia together. Sigh. Estigarribia on the bench.

I saw intentional hanball there (no review yet)...

July 24, 2011 03:07 PM ET

Great... we started off just like the last two games. Villar has to be the luckiest keeper on the planet these days.

July 24, 2011 03:08 PM ET

Ortigoza got away with an intentional handball = red card + penalty kick.

July 24, 2011 03:15 PM ET

Gol Uruguay. Deserved.

July 24, 2011 03:26 PM ET

Gashunk! by Paraguay. But the officials missed it.
