Williams would have cut himself, too

08:03 AM ET 07.27 | Among the roster casualties in Dallas, Roy Williams saw the writing on the wall. [Williams] was still at his home in Odessa when he got the word from owner Jerry Jones that he was going to be released. Williams said Jones told him the move was being made for salary cap reasons. Though he was disappointed, the former Longhorn star reacted in true Williams fashion. Known for being too open and honest, Williams said "It is a business. It is what it is. It's a business. I would have done the same thing." Williams never lived up to expectations after the Cowboys gave up four draft picks, including a first-rounder in 2009, to get him from Detroit in the middle of the 2008 season.

For the right price... we will have you back.

But - you are a #3 receiver at best on this team.

Hell - maybe a #4 (if we resign Hurd...)

Suits me...

Worst move Jerrah has made. Didn't think he could out-worst Galloway but he did. At least this mail-order Casanova is gone.

Good to the last drop...

Free signed last night - 4YR @ $32M... that means Columbo is gone also.

Around $20M in cap space cleared up. Jerry had a plan as he sat in on these negotiations.

Now... resign Kosier then get started on the Defense.

July 27, 2011  08:29 AM ET

if Williams is cutting himself, should one of his friends get him into therapy?

July 27, 2011  08:41 AM ET

Real reason they cut him to much money for a bad wideout...

Again, FN has over-hyped a non-story. He cut himself shaving.

With so much going on recently in the NFL, they should have some better headlines than today's selection....

Word..... Was thinking the same thing, then I realized... Either they didn't bother to dig a little deeper for their "copy pasting", or the threads usually always sucked and we didn't realize it.
