08:08 AM ET 07.28 | Can a building sell a team? Standing at what will become the entrance of the Nets' arena in Brooklyn, GM Billy King lauded the $1 billion construction as a ticket to land big free agents while indirectly describing it as more attractive than Madison Square Garden. "Players say they want to be in New York. Well, we're going to be in New York," King said Wednesday during a tour of the construction site with reporters. "We have the best owner, and we're going to have the best building. We'll have all the tools. If a guy doesn't want to play here, he doesn't want to play in the city." Even though the arena isn't scheduled to open until the fall of 2012, the move has already helped thrust the Nets into the conversation of top free agents.

WTF - King is so far up the Russian's behind he's probably able to brush the back of his teeth.

However when the arena is finally up it should be a beauty - Shame that it will be another arena that will price most die-hard fans out...

Once again the FN interns screwed up. Isn't that a picture of Deron Williams, not Derrick Williams who was just drafted by the Timberpuppies? Unless they've already worked out a trade they can announce after the lockout.
