08:02 AM ET 07.28 | "Will work for touchdowns," is how Braylon Edwards put it. [Edwards'] love for the Jets is feeling a bit unrequited right now. The free agent receiver wrote on his Twitter account today, "I would love to be a Jet but the feeling doesn't seem to be mutual with the management." He later deleted this Tweet. "Will always love jets nation no matter what happens," he wrote in a follow-up tweet. This morning, the Jets agreed to terms with free agent receiver Santonio Holmes, who was their top priority. Being able to bring back both Holmes and Edwards was thought to be a difficult task financially, but not ruled out immediately.

Read somewhere where the Patriots should go after Edwards... could you imagine that. How long would it be till Brady flipped his lid over Edwards dropping passes thrown right into his hands. The Patriots could use someone like him to stretch the field though, but his mouth wouldn't fit in well in New England.

The Patriots have a way of turning players with outstanding talents back into winners. The problem with Edwards is that he doesn't posses the outstanding talents that others before him (Moss) have!
