Wouldn't be a bad acquisition. Has some decent power at times.

Better than selling....

This would be a good move by the pirates. Can't believe i'm saying that.

Absolutely. The guy is hitting .308. HR are down, but he is playing in a bad park for HR at the moment.

Bye. Great guy. Team player. BUT too often injured, limited defensively and consistent underachiever. This is one of several moves Twins should make and make room for young guys that are ready. Always a good Twin and always will be but time to cut the chord on this one. Keep Cuddy!!

Why should they? They should sell ASAP. The division has become a 2 team race. Sox, Twins and Royals ain't going anywhere.

Because he is a leader. He is versatile and can play numerous positions. He doesnt complain. Salary likely to be lower in next deal due to age. He Is only player on Twins that has been on all recent playoff team since 2000. He along with Mauer & Morneau are the core. Plenty of other tradeable assets. Finally Twins may look out of it and not saying they arent but they dont quit like other teams in the division no matter how much adversity, because of guys like Cuddy.

His character has nothing to do with a business. I like that 'quit like other teams in the division' jab you slipped in there. Whatever floats your boat.

I am VERY surprised to see you give up on your boys so, #2. Tigers and Indians aren't exactly stringing the Ws together at the moment.

I haven't given up on them. I have been a White Sox season ticket holder for several years now. Watch them all the time. This year's team has been the most disappointing I've seen in years, even if they finish with a better record than some recent White Sox teams come season's end. They don't play as a cohesive unit and have spoiled immense opportunities to just pull ahead in this weak division this year. The money spent on this White Sox team is disgusting.

Doubt it.

what happened to your old account?

It's still around. Thought I'd start a new comment count. 2.0 is better and more south side than ever.

QUOTE(#18):

I did feel they were reaching with some of the contracts they acquired last offseason.

Konerko is worth the money spent on him. He will finish his career here as he should. Plus, his numbers last year and this year are awesome. I like Dunn, but that's a lot of paper.
