08:00 AM ET 08.02 | It didn't take long for Dolphins fans to show their frustration in Miami, where Chad Henne had been given the inside track on starting at quarterback. [Henne] had a lackluster showing during Monday night's scrimmage at Sun Life Stadium, and many of the 10,109 fans in attendance let him know it. Henne was booed a couple of times following poor throws. But after rookie OLB Jonathan Freeny deflected a pass intended for an open Anthony Fasano the fans booed louder, then chanted "We Want [Kyle] Orton," referring to the Denver quarterback the Dolphins tried to trade for.

Fans are not dumb. And they know what they want.

They want Andrew Luck.

They may get their chance.

There is nowhere but up for this team.

He always has Penne's shoulder to cry on.

OLB Jonathan Freeny deflected a pass intended for an open Anthony Fasano...

Fasano would have dropped it anyway.

Does anyone on the Dolphins still think this guy is the next Dan Marino?

And it's only just the beginning of training camp. this is going to get very ugly really quick. then again...the qb situation there has been ugly for quite some time.

Most suck to be the Dolphins and Henne.

I am not even sure Orton would be part of the solution, either...

Lucky Dolphins get to start the regular season against the Pats. Should be a nice beatdown to get things rollin'!

Fat Albert may resolve their quarterback choice for them in the first quarter.

It is so tragically amusing (at least to me)...that your situation would be bad enough, that your fans would be foaming at the mouth - in training camp - for Kyle Orton. (Not that he's terrible, but...well...you know.)

Maybe they should get him, if for no other reason, than to give the fans someone (Henne) to scream for in D.C.

All the QBs in the league those fans could chant for and they pick Orton? Give them credit for not setting the bar too high.

Right now the only bar the Fish have is not getting beat out by the Bills for third place.

Bar may be too high even with that.

My fellow Dolphins fans are morons. They will chant for Orton until they are blue in the face...then have a meltdown when we give up way too much for him. Why else do you think this deal has not been done yet? Broncos want way too much and for the first time in a while, the GM is actually biting.
