Crowell carries Georgia's Dream Team expectations

08:20 AM ET 08.02 | Among the Dream Team newcomers, the spotlight may shine brightest on 5-foot-11, 210-pound Isaiah Crowell. Crowell was expected to make a profound impact even before the Bulldogs lost their top two tailbacks from a year ago. With leading rushers Washaun Ealey and Caleb King unable to continue their Georgia careers -- and No. 3 tailback Carlton Thomas suspended and ruled out of the season opener -- it's paramount that this five-star prospect live up to his lofty billing. Crowell was highly productive at Carver High, averaging 11.7 yards per carry and a touchdown every eight carries as a senior; the Bulldogs would be blessed to get half that.

Didn't BSB say yesterday that neither UGa nor USCe had to play LSU or Bama in '11. If so, they have the easiest route of the SEC east schools.

There is no "easy" route in the SEC, afterall it is the "SEC"!

Forgive me and bless all the pygmies in New Guinea.

The "easy" route would be if they played in either the Big 12 or the B1G or even easier in the 12 Pac or Big Least. :-)

The easy route is never leaving the state of Florida to play.

oh yes. UTK plays Bama, LUS, and Arky on their Western slate and UF has Bama, LUS and Auburn. Probably has a lot to do with USCe and UGA being picked 1st and 2nd in the east.

I stand corrected...they do travel all the way to Kentucky, Louisiana, Alabama and South Carolina.
