08:00 AM ET 08.03 | Jay Feely and Braylon Edwards share some history with both Michigan and the Jets. [Feely] is now an Arizona Cardinal. Could the same be said for Edwards soon? "I'd love to see it, I really would," Feely told Sports 620 KTAR's Dave Burns and John Gambadoro. Feely said teaming Edwards with Larry Fitzgerald, Chansi Stuckey and Todd Heap would create a dynamic offense. "I think getting that number two guy," he said, "if we can get him, and if the finances work." And that's one of the big ifs. Edwards, who had 53 catches for 904 yards and seven touchdowns last year, is supposedly looking for a long-term deal. The Cardinals, on the other hand, would likely want to sign him for just one season -- two at most.

Arizona could be a good fit for him, Fitzgerald on one side, Braylon on the other, Heap in the center, see what Kolb could do with that.

A dynamic offense needs a QB first. Anyone seen one in Arizona lately?

There you go Edwards another team that doesn't want to give you what you want.

But if the Cards really stock that offense, what will Kolb use as an excuse? An injury ... gonna have to go with an injury.

Yeah, Kurt Warner was at their initial practice the other day.

Glass Joe (Kolb) needs to stay healthy to be able to throw to these weapons. He's an unproven 2nd round QB who hasn't done much in the league.

one season lol... crazy

Well good thing every GM goes by their FG Kicker's opionon on talent on the field, so Edwards will def be a Cardinal now

Do you watch tv or read the sports page?? The Cards signed Kolb, now granted he is not a proven QB, but how many true proven QB's are there in the NFL????

Don't laugh too hard, as the Skins could use a good QB!!!! :-)

Good thing every GM is asking their FG Kicker's opinion on talent on the field......def seems like the Cardinals now have to get him since Feely said so

The Cards should have worked harder to keep Breaston. But now that they've let him go, Edwards might be a good option. Or replace Sidney Rice in Minnesota?

When your personnel management is done the way Arizona does it, what can it hurt?

I'm no Cards fan but I totally agree. I think the addition of Heap was the best thing they could have done for Kolb. Big pass catching body in the middle of the field who can also block. Adding Braylon would help Kolb alot.

kickers imput is "always" valuable

August 3, 2011  11:38 AM ET

If the finances work out (which I doubt the will), this would be a good fit for Braylon.

Bray Bray needs to cut his price, really work on having a monster season and then earn the big paycheck.
That's the one lesson other WRs need to learn from the Randy Moss saga.
