08:11 AM ET 08.05 | This has been quite a week for the Cardinals' Yadier Molina. Molina and Gerald Laird got into a heated argument [Wednesday] night after the club arrived in South Florida from Milwaukee. I spoke with Cardinal GM John Mozeliak this evening, and he said there was "a disagreement" between the two players, but he doesn't know what the cause of the argument was as he was not present when it took place. "It was a frustrating day for everybody," Mozeliak said in reference to the Cardinals' long day that started with an early game in Milwaukee after the previous night's 11-inning victory. Mozeliak said it's a case of "boys will be boys," but that at this point, it's not something he considers to be a serious matter.

I don't know...I've been in some seriously heated arguments and I've never had spittle fly out of my mouth. If he's THAT worked up to where he cant control the fluids that are exiting his body then maybe he needs some professional help...

He was foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog.

Maybe he's gotten into Pujols' steroids and that's why he's such a hot head these days. That would certainly explain the career year he's having at the dish.

I do too, I can't say why exactly but they annoy the hell outta me.

I did look into this further, and it seems Molina may be pissed because one of his neck tattoos says "property of Cain"

yadi a hot head? really? are there any other instances anyone can even remember before the brewers one this season? obviously besides the phillps one because that was warranted. we are (for a change) in a tight division race that we have a legitimate chance of losing, tensions can be heightened. get a clue people. plus gerald lairds arm is pretty weak, he throws slow and inaccurate. i'd probably be mad at him too if i was yadi. i do agree with the neck tattoos being really stupid and it would be nice it he could speak english more clearly but whatever, he's a beast behind the plate.
