08:06 AM ET 08.06 | If Tyson Chandler ever had thoughts of re-signing with the Mavericks for a bargain price those intentions have likely ended. That's because he recently sold his Chicago home for almost half of what he paid for it. According to a recent story in the Chicago Tribune , Chandler, a former member of the Chicago Bulls, sold his 20-room, brick-and-limestone mansion in suburban Chicago for $2.1 million. While that may seem like quite a bit of money, it pales in comparison to the $4 million that Chandler paid for the dwelling in the summer of 2006, just weeks before he was traded to the New Orleans Hornets. He originally listed the three-story mansion in 2007 for $4.99 million, and gradually lowered the asking price over the years. The six-bedroom home was built in 2004 and covered about 11,000 square feet.

Chandler, i think, is 1 of the 2 bigs that can transform a team w/ his D. its risky but i think if the knicks need a big man, he is the guy. he will fit well as the vocal leader of the knicks squad.

Wonder how many bigger offers he turned down over 5 years. What, did he think someone would pay more just because it was owned by Tyson Chandler. Welcome to real life dude.

Tyson Chandler is after the biggest bidder and that's fine.
But he may be unhappy to learn that bidder may be Minnesota.

Just sayin...

Real life? Not many people live in two million dollar houses.

wes welker is 5'9 and no bigger than Nate. I doubt he is any quicker also. I realize Wes has experience going for him and he is more used to contact, but I think Nate has the physical ability to do well. He would have to be a quick study though, and be able to take a hit.
