I still say the logo looks like it was stolen from The Royal Canadian Air Force curling team.

This summer, the Wizards unveiled their new logo and the gear was in the stores the next day. That's good business. This is not a good start for the jets franchise. Looks like they have dolts running the team.

Change a Color... Put a canopy on that Jet.

I'm not surprised, that logo looks like the creators found the cut and paste option in Microsoft Paint.

Probably one of the worst logos I've seen. Looks like a mid-90's USFL reject. Early Adobe Illustrator dreck. Interesting that it also very closely resembles the 2012 Obama Re-election (GOD FORBID) campaign logo. Interesting in that the shop that designed it is based in ??ber-liberal Massachusetts.

It IS an "homage" to the RCAF and almost a direct lift of the 1948 Team Canada logo, but if you look at that classic logo (even versions that were used for other hockey teams) it was done well, to the day's production limitations, therefore it was real, a little gritty, and like the old Hawks, Leafs, Wings, it just felt like hockey.

This just blows. I'd have loved to have seen the old Jets again. Logos across all sports have become just too "designed" in my opinion. Give me the Yankees, Red Sox, Colts, Habs, Wings, and keep the Broncos, Coyotes, Ravens, Bills, etc.

Sorry, Jets. Poor effort.

I actually don't mind the logo. It's not the best I've see, but there isn't anything overly bad about it either...

I agree. It could have been a lot worse. Nor would I equate the tacky old 70s era Jets logo with classic logos like Red Sox, Yankees, Colts, Habs, Wings, etc.

The logo is great, only people I"ve heard bash it were people who only wanted the old Logo and nothing else, of course they want JUmp played when the team comes out, and Selanne, Ducky and Steen to return. Move on peeps. Embrace the future

The thing is a piece of trash. Won't last three years. A ten year old could have designed something better than this tripe.
