Charles Barkley, Woods??? former Nike-bonded play-date pal, is TNT's No. 1 attraction, promoted, celebrated and always available for his bold candor. So isn't this week the perfect time to discuss on TNT in some detail why Woods, after his colossal plunge from grace, was no longer allowed to play -- especially at night in Las Vegas -- with Barkley? Why, the moment all that scandal hit the fan, did Woods' reps make it clear that among the first things that Woods would do to try to refurbish his image was delete Barkley and Michael Jordan from his buddy list? Even Barkley admits that Woods no longer returns his calls.

Holy crap! Anyone saw the comments Williams made after Scott won the tournament today? Best win he's ever had? The tool won 13 majors on Tiger's bag and he calls this limited-field, no-cut PGA tour event the best win he's ever had? Much as I don't like Tiger as a person, Williams just proved he has all the class of a Vegas pimp.
Tiger made you a multi-millionaire, you thankless hack! Then he fired you. It happens. Get on with your pathetic and unimportant little excuse of a life you sorry waste of organic material, thank Adam for giving you a job, a nice paycheck this week and just shut the heck up. For real!

Get a grip. Williams was commenting on Scott's play. In no way was it intended as a swipe at woods. I'm not big fan of Williams' personality, but there's no denying his ability on the bag. It IS possible for other golfers to be complimented without having to drag woods into the conversation every freakin' time.

Steve Williams has been a classless punk ever since Tiger let him go. He constantly brings up how loyal he was when the truth is, Tiger was his meal ticket. And, he's a total liar re: Tiger's affairs. Here's a great article written by Travis Rodgers:
Williams traveled the world with Woods, he spent countless hours on planes, on the course, at the range, etc, and he knew nothing? Simply impossible. I am not saying that he was in the Pancake House with Woods helping him close, but the idea that he knew nothing is impossible for me to accept. He would have stumbled across one of those bimbos after all that time. They were coming out of the woodwork, he???s on the inside of Team Tiger and he knew nothing? Fail.
But his Colonel Klink ???I know nothing!??? routine is George Washington level truth telling, compared to his, ???I would have called Tiger out had I known??? line of crap. Another lie. Let???s take a quick look at Tiger???s history. Steve Williams carries a golf bag, wipes the grooves of his boss??? clubs clean, and tells people to shut up and hold still. Because he is good at these tasks; is willing to verbally assault the paying customers and smash their photographic equipment, and will deliver the occasional ???Phil Mickelson is an ****??? bomb, he gets paid millions of dollars. He travels by private aircraft, he stays in fine hotels, and has become a celebrity in his own right.
Williams would jeopardize all of this by telling his boss, one of the most vindictive grudge holders known to man, that he needs to keep his pants on? Sure he would. I am sure there are lots of caddy jobs out there that could make him a famous millionaire. I am sure he would lay it all on the line like that because ???he likes Elin too???.
Tiger may have lied to all of us for a very long time, but the whoppers that ???Stevie??? just told makes him the leader in the Liar Clubhouse.

Williams was just venting. It would be difficult for us not to say something along the same vein.
Neither Woods or Williams deserve adoration anymore. They are both as important as last year's bird nest and they both have swelled heads.
I'm looking forward to the new kids and I'm will to let these two fade away. As they should.
If Woods keeps playing, I fully expect the tendon injuries to come back into the picture.
There are more important golfers for us to focus on now. Showboat had his day and, his blondes.
