09:59 AM ET 08.07 | Danica Patrick appears set to make her long-awaited move to NASCAR. When she'll race in the top-tier Sprint Cup Series is less certain. While Patrick has made strides in NASCAR's Nationwide Series, Dale Earnhardt Jr., believes Patrick needs more time and experience in the second-level circuit before making the full-time leap to suiting up on Sundays. Earnhardt, co-owner of JR Motorsports, said he wants Patrick to run a full Nationwide schedule with his team. She has driven 19 Nationwide races for his team over the last two seasons and has six more starts scheduled this year.

Who better than Jooonya to know the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. I totally agree with him on this one.

I did a quick check of comments on the previous thread about Danica running Nationwide and some Cup races. It seems a few Jooonya fans think she is ready, will they change their mind now after Jooonya has made his feelings known.

She needs to run more Nationwide before she moves up to cup. It's as simple as that. Danica is no more ready for the big show than Buckshot Jones was. (Anybody else remember Buckshot?)

Making a notation that JK agreed with Jr on this day in Aug 2011.....LOL
I agree too but it doesn't count as I am a fan.
This really isn't a new story since we covered all this in the last story.
