08:06 AM ET 08.09 | Nice building, the Amway Center, but Dwight Howard sympathized with a fan who reportedly fired off the following note on Twitter: "we sell out the Orena and 85 percent r just there to look good until the playoffs." Howard agreed, expressing concern about the Amway Center crowd. Howard wrote back, "that upsets me cuz I don't wait till the playoffs to play hard. I give y'all my best everynite. Y becuz some people don't get a chance to be at everygame. And I want them to always remember the nite they saw me play. So. I play for y'all. I feed off the fans. ESP at home. It's a different atmosphere in the playoffs at the arena. That same atmosphere should be during the season."

And looks forward to the Staples Center, home of his next team...Lakers!

.Sometimes you have to accept reality to be objective. Orlando just doesn't have enough rich people that will spend on basketball on a nightly basis. Now if New York or Los Angeles had a star of his stature you can trust every game he plays will be sold out. Case in point look how great the Clippers are doing with Blake Griffin. It's still all about location. With multiple scoring titles Durant would have been MVP a long time ago if he played in a major market. So word to Howard.. if you wanna stop playing in front of ghosts go to a big city.

Calling out the fans now. He's outta there.

If y're playing your last season for your first team won't you want to make it a fun fair? He's rallying the fans... come see what y'll be missing. Like Delonte after spotting Gloria on MVP night... he aint coming back!

Yeah, he puts out in the regular season, buts disappears at crunch time in the playoffs.

There is little stupider than a player, making mega bucks, "calling out" the fans. Just another reason I despise the NBA. It is lousy basketball, played by thugs who would be serving 20 to life if not for pro sports.

No, there's plenty of money in Orlando -- a lot more than you may think. Plus, the Magic doesn't have to share the city with other sports teams. The problem is that Orlando is filled to the brim with ****-nozzles, arse-hats and fair-weather fans. I should know, I grew up there.

Uh WHAT??? Does anyone go to school anymore? It's almost like incorrect spelling and grammatical errors are a badge of honor! No wonder this country is going down the toilet.

Twitter, Doc... The end of civilization as we know it.
