08:03 AM ET 08.10 | Shortened camps and a mini rant from his head coach wouldn't keep Aaron Rodgers from adding levity. It's early August. Training camp is young. No, [Rodgers] wasn't exactly tossing and turning all night after the Packers' lackluster practice Monday night. Cue the Allen Iverson impersonation. "Practice? We talking about practice?" the quarterback said at Tuesday's media session. "We're not talking about a game. We're talking about practice. ... Uh, practice? I'm not overly concerned. It was a tough environment inside. We just have to clean things up a little bit. Too many mental mistakes." A day after Mike McCarthy's semi-rant on fundamentals -- or a lack thereof -- Rodgers doused the flames on Tuesday.

When you are the defending champion and you have no controversies to speak of... yep - this is digging up "stuff".

I read the whole account of the Monday Practice. The Packs going though what a lot of teams are. they are not in playing condition yet. and I doubt a lot of teams will be until about week two of the regular season.

Except, of course, the Saints - who are ready to win the damn thing right now!

Love preseason prognostication...

Practice? Practice? We don't need no stinking practice. Except maybe all those linemen who will be keeping the defense off of me!

That add to it, .... Saturday's Night Practice which was Family Night at Lambeau Field 50,000+ ... counts as a Practice .... which was cut short by rain to less then a hour, ... NO practice on Sunday ...

Mike may need to hold a Practice on Friday on the White House lawn ....

I must've misread the hype. I thought it was Eagles-Jets in the Superbowl.

English...you talking about ENGLISH?

may as well start practicing on your standup because you won't be winning it all this year...tough enough time making the playoffs...you know....that Super Bowl curse the following year...Saints bucked the system last year but lost to seattle in the first round....SEATTLE

Laugh all you want but AI was right....its PRACTICE!

If you have ever been on a sports team you will know that there are some guys who excel in practice then when the lights are on they cant play dead! Then others like myself who were not great practice players but once the REAL GAME was on--that was my time.....

AR12 has no reason to worry...unless his cannon arm falls off

I may be wrong, but wasnt Iversons rant brought on by Missing practice or showing up extremely late. Big difference between that and having a bad practice.
