Denver is turning Tebow into a robot

08:05 AM ET 08.11 | Free Tebow? Tim Tebow is not a paint-by-numbers quarterback. So why do the Broncos seem bent on turning him into Brian Griese, your plain vanilla game manager and the football equivalent of a certified public accountant? The extreme makeover of Tebow has revealed a clumsy robot in need of a system reboot. It's pure folly to recast an improvisational player as a pocket passer. Tebow needs to be Tebow. After feeling the heat from criticism this summer, Tebow repeatedly expressed a desire Wednesday to "have fun." But where did the unpredictable fun in his game go? Whatever happened to the instinctive rambler who wore No. 15 for the Broncos? While it sometimes appears that Tebow's technique has regressed since his rookie season, maybe the real problem is lost identity.

Poor guy's probably still a virgin. The robot just needs his oil changed so he can relax a little.

Dude, I am so tired of this photo..........Seriously.

Why would they want to turn him into Brian Griese?

So why can't we get a photo of him actually wearing that number 15, huh? Answer me that.

Well, Denver Post, one week it's "Rut-Roh"

The next week, it's intelligent commentary like this: "It's pure folly to recast an improvisational player as a pocket passer."

You can work on sharpening mechanics, or little tips and tweaks, but you can't change a players game.

I don't know if they would thrive, or not...but Denver should give both Orton, and Tebow, to teams (yes, they exist) that would appreciate them, and let them play their games.

He needs to turn into Bender from Futurama. A robot who drinks and interfaces with fem-bots.

Denver-Dallas tonight should be quite the slopfest.

Pre-season football. Glad I've got other plans.

I would pay cash money to see Tebow do the Robot!

I'm kinda tired of hearing about Tebow. Dude gets more press than the rest of the league combined.

Battle of the undrafted free agents...or in another dimension...what the Super Bowl would have looked like, without the new CBA.

I would like to see what some of these "training camp wonders" (Lonye Miller, Orie Lemon, Alex Albright, etc.) have in the tank, for Dallas, though.

There's something sad about an untested dipstick.

Only reason I am remotely interested in tonight's festivities....

Do they have sloppy performances by free-agent cheerleaders, too? Y'know, like wardrobe malfunctions and stuff?

Tebow threads are giving the old Favre threads a run for their money...

Miller and Albright so far are the 'stars' of camp. According to the experts. Then again, those same experts picked Dallas to play in the Superbowl last Feb. HA!!!

To make it easier to get rid of him, I'd guess.
