"the John McCourt Co. payment reflected salary reimbursement for an executive he did not name."

There ya go. I am guessing it was someone real close. Mirror close. Accountants have at it.

McCourt won't be happy until he has sucked everything of economic value out of this franchise and he will leave its desiccated corpse for the vultures to pick clean.

August 13, 2011  11:04 AM ET

$42million is nearly 1/3 of the McCourt's yearly budget for toiletries and spa treatments!!!

7 luxury houses & a greedy wife will do that to you. Doesnt help that he's still paying $8M to Manny.

Splitting community property is not "greedy". And anyway, sounds to me like he was greedy enough for both of them.

dodgers owner has marked his words, that even if the MLB sells this franchise to whoever buys this team, he will hold on to the parking lot and all the money should go to him!!

good work dodger fans ^5

Clearly a double homicide is in order here.

Here is the list from the LA Times:

The million-dollar creditors:

1. Ramirez ($21 million)

2. Andruw Jones ($11 million)

3. Hiroki Kuroda ($4.5 million)

4. Rafael Furcal ($3.7 million)

5. Chicago White Sox ($3.5 million, for Juan Pierre)

6. Ted Lilly ($3.4 million)

7. Zach Lee ($3.4 million)

8. Kaz Ishii ($3.3 million)

9. Juan Uribe ($3.2 million)

10. Matt Guerrier ($3.1 million)

11. Juan Pierre ($3.05 million)

12. Marquis Grissom ($2.7 million)

13. Jon Garland ($1.2 million)

Reports in LA state due to the bankruptcy and divorce trials McCourt will likely stay in control of the team until after 2012. Which means we won't have money to spend on keeping Kemp and Ethier. But Hey, at least we can still pay for Manny and Andruw.

yeah....because Dodger fans have EVERYTHING to do with the fact that McCourt is gigantic **** who is terrible with money

If you add up all the losses baseball has claimed to have over the last few decades, it would probably at least double the national debt. I gave up believing any numbers from any sports owners years ago.

Good. Happy to see a cali team getting effing pounded.

too bad the rest of the state can't follow suit.
