08:14 AM ET 08.16 | Bubba who? On Bubba Starling Day, and between Bubba Starling questions, Nebraska offensive coordinator Tim Beck squeezed in some more glowing comments on a quarterback who is in fall camp. That would be Taylor Martinez, the Huskers' returning starter. Beck used the word "awesome" to describe the sophomore's play in practice, and said he's "really, really" excited about where Martinez is. Sounds as if the game has slowed down for Martinez, too. "I think it has a little bit," Beck said after Monday's morning practice. "He's much more confident playing. Again, I'm really proud of his leadership, the way he's handling everything. He's working really hard."

that and his ability to turn and hand off.

then he'll do well in the B1G if he can turn and hand off real well.

Just read where he signed with the Royals.....$7.8 million guaranteed over the next 3 years.....nice.

That's even more than he would have made playing CFB in the SEC!!! (cue A***nus and Blue ****)

Wow. Jealously run amok here. What has this kid done to deserve your infantile insults? When you've played in the NCAA as a starter on a D-1 team, then you have the right to mock him and his progress.

Until then, you should just probably keep your mouths shut.
