08:08 AM ET 08.19 | Somewhat unsurprisingly, David Khan and the Minnesota Timberwolves -- who have made a run at, as the Twin Cities media likes to put it, 6 1/2 coaches to interview for the vacant head coaching job, a job that hung so long in uncertainty -- have decided to wait just a little bit longer. [According to a Twitter report:] "Don't expect anything from #Timberwolves on coaching search until next week at least."

WOlves won't sign (and pay) a coach until after a labor agreement is in place and the season is assured.

Yup - What's the rush..... And who in their right mind would take it after the last couple of years.

Oh wait never mind - Larry Brown and Donnie are still alive and kicking...!

QUOTE(#15):

LYNX!

Well, the Lynx has been doing what the Wolves have been failing to do. Put a competent and now-winning product on the court. In fact, this year, the Lynx is slated to do something for Taylor that the Wolves haven't done since the KG days.....at least break even.

The Timberwolves. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA

Another intelligent and useful coment. Are your other 9000+ posts also as brilliant a contribution to humanity? Sure, the Wolves have struggled the last few years, but they were a couple of wins away from the NBA Finals last decade. They again have the core of a good, up-and-coming team. If you want to contract, start with the Lakers and Knicks. HA HA HA HA

So would you call them the "Licks" or the "Knackers"?
