08:07 AM ET 08.23 | Though the lockout is an obvious drag on the NBA's momentum, it has done wonders for Drew League-Goodman League buzz. Though plans are far from definitive, Drew League officials intend to meet with Kobe Bryant's representatives Wednesday to discuss a possible appearance in a proposed exhibition game in Los Angeles on Sept. 10 between the Drew League and Goodman League. ... Bryant's agent, Rob Pelinka of Landmark Sports Agency, didn't return calls for comment, but [Drew League Commissioner Oris "Dino" Smiley] holds plenty of optimism Bryant would play in the proposed Drew League-Goodman League game. Said Smiley: "I would be surprised that, if it's held in L.A., that he wouldn't show up and play for it."

I endorse this post

There isn't even any FA buzz about anything, is the top T&R really a summer league game?

QUOTE(#13):

Huh ?? Even if there were no lockout, how would it be an "exciting Summer" ??The season is over, regardless of the lockout, and it would not start again until November, regardless as well.

At least there would be Free agent Signings, trades, Anything, I think the lockout was so the LBJ hate would die down... Now that is a T&R...

Plow, SD,, LAL-NYY, Monsieur, D Boi, Guam, Jgb, and the rest of the crew....What up?

The Curator is back, and there's fresh blood on the floor already. Of course, it's not FN blood; Kobe is trying to figure out how in the heck his front teeth got knocked loose. What he doens't know is that SD swings a mean left hook, especially when perfectly timed to connect with Kobe's mouth right when it was open, exposing his chiclets, which are now on the FN floor. Dammit, more teeth to clean up...

Ha!! I get to play on FN since Atilla's sister isn't in today...HAAAAAA HAAAAAAAA HA HA HA (per DocMadLab)....

August 23, 2011  12:33 PM ET

Is it just me, or are the T&R threads exceptionally lame here as of late? Do I give a flip if somebody buys a damn house or invests in a business? Could care less...that's a shame...

Shouldn't he be resting those knees?
