08:05 AM ET 08.27 | Former NBA star Stephon Marbury is changing teams in China. According to Sina Sports, Marbury has agreed to a one-year contract with Beijing Shougang. The deal is worth anywhere from $100,000 per month to $1.4 million for the season, according to reports. Marbury played for the Foshan Darlions last season, averaging 25.2 points, 5.7 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 steals. Playing in China helps Marbury advance his "Starbury" line of inexpensive sneakers.

Your shtick has run pretty dry, but you got a good chuckle out of me with that one.
Also: Wow, Starbury can't even stay on the same team over seas. What a great teammate he must be. ::eye-roll::

His numbers suggest he is doing quite well in that league?
That's not that impressive, actually he should be putting a lot better numbers. If A-Rod was playing AA Ball, he would still be putting up "all star" worthy numbers...in a league with less talent.
After his declaration that MN was too cold for him, and Marbury wanted to play in the balmy weather closer to his hometown in NY, he was never viewed the same. The All Star game is based on player popularity, that's why even with his talent he was only elected twice. There is a reason that the player drafted right after him is still relevent and is still making an impact in the NBA.
He had the talent, but he didn't have the head and attitude to go with it. Another case of woulda coulda shoulda.

Yes, his numbers suggest he is doing quite well in that league, by their standards. Do you know of any coach who would balk at a player who averages 25/5/4/1 ? No **** it's not the NBA, that's kinda the point of the article.
Also did you just compare Marbury's performance in the NBA to A-Rod's in MLB? Apples to Oranges.
