11:01 AM ET 08.28 | A lot of fantasy football players might have Rashard Mendenhall ranked too low, based on what I'm hearing from my Steelers friends. The running back showed up to camp in "wow" shape, which was duly noted in the locker room and in the coaching offices. Because Mendenhall is in his fourth year of being in the Steelers offense, he's completely comfortable with his responsibilities and the concepts. As a result, he's playing fast and explosively. What's more, Mendenhall has derived a little extra motivation from his Twitter escapade. He wants to be recognized for the right reasons. The upshot is the Steelers expect him to have his best year yet.

Well, looking good in the offseason is easy for these guys. Doing something during the season is where it counts.

Despite Suh being a "great" guy by most accounts, why do I get the feeling he is going to end someones career, or worse yet, paralyze someone?

August 28, 2011  11:58 AM ET

Oh, and Mendenhall has looked pretty good so far this year...

Nothing wrong with that, after all it is football, not badminton

After the fumble in the Super Bowl and the ridiculously asinine twitter comments he DAMN WELL better be trying to be recognized for the right reasons. Time to get your head outta your arse there Rashard.

The punch to Mankins was bush league. Wait til the guy is fully engaged with someone else and smack him from the side.
