08:02 AM ET 08.29 | After a somewhat shortened week, it appears the Texans are poised to open the season with every starter available for the Sept. 11 opener. That includes running back Arian Foster, the defending NFL rushing champion who aggravated a left hamstring injury in Saturday's 30-7 victory at San Francisco. "Everything was positive today," coach Gary Kubiak said Sunday. "It looks like we're dealing with the same thing we were dealing with at the start of camp. Hopefully, get him back on the rehab train and get him ready for opening day. Hopefully, we're fortunate, and he's going to be OK." The plan was to play most of the starters three quarters. Because they dominated the 49ers in the first half, Kubiak rested his starters in the second half.

With Joseph signed and in the db backfield.. they just might take the division.. who knows what Manning is gonna do or how healthy he'll be.

The Texans need to start the season strong. If Peyton Manning can't play the first few games, Houston could build a lead in the AFC South and maybe hang on. Indy isn't going to lie down and die, though.

With the shape this division is in... he had better not screw it up.

It's their's to lose.

He's doing chin-ups to get in shape as we speak.

The Texans better take the division if Kubiak wants to keep that headset another year. Manning is banged up. Tennessee is a wreck. Jacksonville is, well, Jacksonville. If not now, when?

They may not get a better chance to win the AFC South.

The winning formula isn't on the ground, Gary.

But when your backup quarterback is Matt Leinart, that's where you look for the clipboard.
