08:19 AM ET 08.29 | The cute nickname campaigns are already in place, but they remain just that as the NCAA season dawns. There's no question, really, who the heavy favorite to win the Heisman is: Stanford's Andrew Luck, is the popular choice. Still, other players have made their way into the Heisman conversation, and some of their schools have launched full-fledged campaigns. Oklahoma State has Weeden2Blackmon on Twitter and Facebook to promote its duo of quarterback Brandon Weeden and receiver Justin Blackmon. There's PersaStrong, Northwestern's push for quarterback Dan Persa that has included sending 7-pound dumbbells to the media in honor of Persa's jersey No. 7 and his 360-pound bench press. Baylor is creating BU-RG3.com for quarterback Robert Griffin III's Heisman pitch.
