08:01 AM ET 09.01 | Perhaps athletes will now think twice about tweeting MRIs. Houston Texans running back Arian Foster on Wednesday posted a picture of an MRI of his hamstring on Twitter, prompting questions about the severity of his injury and his openness about it. ... Dr. Michael Kaplan, ESPN's sports medicine expert, provided his own analysis of Foster's injury Wednesday and said that it is significant, based on the image the running back posted. "The MRI scan tweeted by Foster demonstrates considerable muscle damage with bleeding and swelling," Kaplan said. ... "Foster will use a gradual strengthening program when he's ready. A return to the field would not be expected before three to four weeks."

So much for that "He'll be ready for Week 1" bulsh we heard last week...

All you fantasy football geeks that grabbed this guy in the 1st Round - too bad!

I guess sending some boobilicious babe an MRI of your hamstring isn't "sexting," but what is it?

Let's just be thankful it was a hammy instead of a groin pull.

Yeah, but do you really want an opinion from Dr. Nick? "Hello everybody!"

Maybe Cutler should have done that last year...

If your an athlete and your on Twitter then your an IDIOT!!! You'd think they learn to just STAY OFF THOSE STUPID SITES!!!! I have no remorse for this man's stupidity and hope Ben Tate tears it up while he is out and takes over Fosters spot....or at least does enough to get a ton of carry's in games...Foster your an idiot.

lmao all yall are **** arian foster is a freaking beast i gaurantee he is on the field vs. the colts. so some dr. thats on espns payroll made a big deal about it. isnt that what espn is supposed to do make news for people to watch? just saying i tend to believe the team drs a tad bit more than a dr on payroll for an entertainment network

If he misses "three to four weeks" then he'll be ready by week three since the season is still over a week away. That's the worst case scenario. So yeah, I'm not moving Foster down my draft board because he might miss a couple games, especially because the only person who actually knows is Foster himself, and he doesn't seem too concerned.

Obviously they weren't concerned either when they played him in a preseason game, that's how hammy's work... unless you are sure it's gone, it'll keep nagging you

Made apparent when he posted his MRI on Twitter. With CJ holding out, just makes Rbs more important early picks.

I'd still take him 2nd rd if he was available.
