Everyone should take a deep breath right now, before wondering why Seattle would be interested in an older running back. Exhale. It's very consistent with Seattle's approach to take a look at players -- even veterans -- and see if there's value to be had. A visit doesn't mean a signing is imminent, but obviously there's enough interest to take a look at a back who has missed 19 of 32 regular-season games over the past two years with Washington. ... Im a skins fan and I love Portis, so to see him potentially having to go to the Seattle is heartbreaking. He's only 29 and IF healthy, still a top notch RB to have. Maybe not early 20's Portis elite, but good enough to still get the job done. He gave his all in Washington behind the crappiest O-line imaginable and I wish him the best. Hope he finds a home somewhere so he can crack that 10,000 rushing yard mark for his career plataue.
