The McCourts are ruining baseball in LA. I wonder how the attendance is for the Angels?

I'm not sure where this comes from except complete ignorance. I guess you've never been to Dodger Stadium. I'd stack their fans up with the most rabid in the country. The Angels are 5th in MLB in attendance at 2.5M so far. The Dodgers are actually 10th in attendance at 2.6M (3-4 more home dates in the books). So the attendance overall isn't bad, it's just that the fan base is bailing on the team as the season goes on. Most of the attendance is from season tickets which are coming disguised as empty seats.

Agreed. I'm sure Dodger "fans" trying to kill a guy rooting for the Giants will help attendance. Maybe they should have a "try to frighten, punch and put fans into the hospital day".

I find it utterly captivating that 27000 people with pre-paid tickets did not deign the LA Dodgers worthy of attendance.

Well...actually....the Dodgers are only 10th in ticket sales. Throught the turnstile attendance is not even close.
