Donovan McNabb denied telling FOX sideline reporter Pam Oliver "point-blank" that "my knee is not an issue" and "the next place I go I will win." Oliver spoke with McNabb Saturday night and prefaced her comments during yesterday's 10-6 upset of the NFC East Champion Dallas Cowboys at Texas Stadium by saying the impression she received from the embattled nine-year veteran was that he is disappointed by what he feels is the organization's attempt to distance itself from him, while lending too much credibility to public criticism.

Philly will be sorry if they let him go.

December 17, 2007  07:31 AM ET

Yeah....sorry they didnt let him go earlier.

December 17, 2007  08:03 AM ET

Over-rated!

December 17, 2007  08:03 AM ET

He is such a whining little ****.

December 17, 2007  08:28 AM ET

He loves playing the role of the victim. Oh, I was mis-quoted.....oh, I cannot believe they drafted a QB.....oh, Rush Limbaugh's comments hurt my feelings....oh poor me....

December 17, 2007  08:30 AM ET

Its not his knee thats in question... its his heart.

December 17, 2007  08:34 AM ET

I'm surprised he hasn't complained that Campbell's dropped him from the Chunky Soup ads. He's bitched about everything else this year

Westbrook down on the 1 play of the year!

December 17, 2007  08:44 AM ET

McNabb, like other NFL players in the past, is refusing to accept reality. His knees aren't what they used to be...... he is not what he used to be. Age gets us all and in football, theres no question or explanation necessary as to why most guys don't last. Donovan has also become a "lightening rod " for contravesy having little to do with wins or losses. Though he's probably tried his best, the injuries and side shows reduced his usefulness to the Eagles. Football, after all, is a business and if you aren't 100% effective and are winning all the time, you may be shown the door. That time for Donovan McNabb is rapidly approaching.

we'll still take him in Chicago. Anything is better than that wreck of a human being known as Rex Grossman.

This is true.
Philly is notorious for giving up good players, but like these guys say, Welcome to Chicago, home of the best pizza in the country.

If you had to deal with worst fans in the nation, Terrell Owens, and some fat pill popping slob bringing up your race for no apparent reason you would be an upset individual yourself. I hope he gets the hell out of Philly and lets the people that boo'd him on draft day deal with their overrated coach and Kolb for the next two to three years.

Oh ... when Brett Farve puts up a stinker with 4-5 INTs .. its alright ... its just Brett being Brett. But When Romo puts up a stinker its the chick he is dating. Yes Romo played aweful ... but when he throws 4 TDs against Carolina noone will care.

How about the Giants geting rolled up by the Skins and losing Shockey to a broken leg. Opens up the NFC playoff race but takes away some interest in the last Pats Giants game.

Romo sprained his thumb waving a Jessica from the sideline.
