Bears have RB injury concerns

10:10 AM ET 09.03 | The longer the Bears hang on to Chester Taylor, the more a mild level of concern rises for the health of the running backs behind Matt Forte. Marion Barber has not practiced since suffering a left calf muscle injury last Saturday against the Titans. Kahlil Bell twisted his right ankle Thursday in the exhibition finale. Bell's injury isn't believed to be serious and there hasn't been serious concern surrounding Barber, but keep in mind Anthony Adams has been sidelined more than three weeks with a calf injury, and he's a defensive tackle, not a running back.

Dude, don't they still have Anthony Thomas or Rashan Salaam?

The Bears are just one offense and one defense away from the SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!

Note from Texas... Barber is always an injury concern.

So, when the Bears signed Barber, I bet there were a hell of a lot of people in the Dallas area chuckling their heads off.

Hey, Cutler Interception stats are the bomb. No need for him to work on that.

Hey Sugar, truer words and all that.

Didn't think they would hold onto Taylor.

It certainly did.

And on an unrelated note... shut up and play, Lance Briggs.

September 3, 2011  12:10 PM ET

Chester's been released after this morning, Forte's in tip-top shape and Barber will be there backing him up come next Sunday. Kahlil Bell looked great in the last game - his injury is no big deal. NON STORY.

And Lance Briggs wants a trade. I don't even see a wild card.

Guess that's why the games are played.
