08:31 AM ET 09.04 | Ricky Williams has found a home in Baltimore. The coaches there love him because he's been very professional and quiet. He's been the first player out at practice every day, and he came to work in fantastic shape. What's more - his pass protection has been outstanding.

Good for Ricky. However, the coaches might not be so happy about him after the first round of drug tests.

...and the dude has the best bud in town.

September 4, 2011  09:19 AM ET

He's quiet because he's stoned out of gourd.

can't believe the patriots didnt sign this guy... he's one of a few 'old school' 'backs that you could pound all day against a good 'D' ... he's a great december player...

"Hail to the Redskins!"!!

Big Mike made the cut.

Just go in and do your job, Ricky...

That's all they can ask of you.

Indeed. Ricky can still thrash you for a game, or two.

And Baltimore is the perfect fit for him (both in suiting his running style, and now, as Rice's "closer")...too bad, he didn't get there sooner.

I think Ricky's prime, for one those..."all he does is score touchdowns" kinda years.

Dude is a Beast. Was a beast at Texas, Saints, Miami (lotta weed later) and I believe with the Ravens. Goal Line Master!!

This way the players will not have to buy on the street, it can all be done right in house. smart move.

September 4, 2011  10:44 AM ET

You know at least one of his new teammates has probably asked him about that already.

He never did. Hence his problems.

Not true. He's been back for a while now.

Or, are you saying that he no longer smokes? Because I think that would be illogical.

He's been tested often for several years now and not had a positive result. Instead of repeating the same tired jokes that have been irrelevant for years, we might want to give this guy some credit for getting his life straightened out. Not many people have the b*lls to do it...
