08:09 AM ET 09.05 | John Fox has been around the coaching game long enough to be conversant in coachspeak, which became clear when asked about Denver employing some version of the "wildcat" for Tim Tebow. Will Fox insert Tebow during games as the wild-card wild horse? Fox's reply to my inquiry was: "Tim is a quarterback. We will continue his development at that position." Another Fox nonanswer answer. Has Denver seen the last of Tebow on the playing field this year? Or will he be at quarterback in blowouts (either way) ... or if Kyle Orton is hurt or ineffective (he has sat out parts, or all, of five games in two seasons) ... or if the Broncos are eliminated from playoff contention (the case last season)? Or will Tebow go into games sporadically?

apparently not...but his career might be.

If a Tebow falls in Denver does it make a sound?

September 5, 2011  08:45 AM ET

Bummer for Tebow. A lot of people wanted to see him succeed. I guess he just doesn't have it.

The bigger story should be what the H are the Broncos doing. Do they think TT is just one year away? They must because there isn't any talk about giving Orton a contract extension (his contract is up this year). They can't think possibly think Quinn is the guy next year. Pretty confusing cause they won't lose enough games to be in the Luck/Kellen sweeps.

Look, Tebow still has around $6 million in FULLY GUARANTEED money coming his way . He is not going anywhere yet.

At least now I know why this is Labor Day. We have to labor through another Tebow thread. MaybeTebow is saying in the picture, "OK guys, I promise, just one more article about me.....maybe."

It's always just "one more thread," isn't it? Like "OK, just one more beer."

Hell this won't be the last Tebow thread this week, much less this year.

September 5, 2011  10:08 AM ET

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

September 5, 2011  10:16 AM ET

when the team is 2-10 they will make the move... when you trot out the same team that finished dead last in the AFC right back out there with the only major change being that you hired the ONLY coach who was worse than you in 2010 you can't expect any less.
Tebow may or may not develop into a successful NFL QB, but Orton isn't and won't ever be, no clue why Fox is even the coach, but I do see how the Panthers were so bad.

September 5, 2011  10:22 AM ET

Am I missing something? Is that a story, or can the same be said about every number 2/3 QB in the league.?

if he is on the roster, unless he gets cut, way to go Mcdaniels

This guy is not that bad of a QB. Its a shame he is on a team that doesn't feel the need to develop him. Other QB's with much less talent and determination than Tebow, have found a place in the NFL.

Or will FN learn to write a readable paragraph?

Has Denver seen the last of Tebow in 2011?

No! He'll be signing jerseys at the mall on most Saturdays.
