Pietrus believes he's a goner

08:12 AM ET 09.05 | Only a few years ago, Mickael Pietrus was leaving his mark on the NBA Finals. It was his defensive length and hot shooting that helped the Magic win the East [in 2009] season. Then he was downgraded for other options by the Magic, including Vince Carter (that certainly worked out well) before being shipped to Phoenix as part of the trades this past year that brought in Jason Richardson. Now it seems that Pietrus may be moved. He certainly gave that impression with an interview with a French newspaper. From La Republique des Pyrenees: "If I stay or not? I have no idea. At the end of the season, the club has rejected several offers for me. They preferred to wait, but it is quite possible that I will be traded."

From half decent option at the 2-guard position to a journey man? Its a tough life hey?

Should you stay or should you go, Bro?

Phoenix is in a Wait n See ...

Vince Carter $18.3m final season is only guaranteed for $4 million if waived by June 30, 2011 the beginning of free agency, ... which was revised on June 23, ... to whenever that may be (End of Lockout) ...

So Phoenix may just keep Pietrus and waived Carter ...

or trade Pietrus Expiring $5.3m contact ...

What did you want Phoenix to do ... add more years at $5.3m +++

Thought he was gone too....out of the NBA. Haven't seen this guy since that Finals. But of course Phoenix didn't get much TV time in my town.
