Riley in familiar spot: Title or bust

08:11 AM ET 09.07 | Are the Heat vehemently against any and all change? [Since] Pat Riley arrived, there have been almost a singular approaches: Defensive first. Offense through the pick and roll. Change on the coaching staff only when someone opts to leave. So it's not a matter of what I think, it's a matter of knowing how things work here. All of that said, this team came within two wins of a championship last season, so how much change would you expect? And adding LeBron and Bosh was probably as big a change as any NBA team has experienced ... ever? But now I do think the stakes change. I believe, for the first time in the history of this franchise, it is championship or bust, sort of where Riley stood during the best of Lakers times.

Is this news? After last summer "Yes we did" free agent haul. It was title or bust. And were not talking about one, or two, or three. We're tallking about five, six, seven titles.

If the Heat don't win title #1 with the big 3 this year or next. Change with come to Miami.

I have always been a big D-Wade fan, but never been a big LeBron fan. So this was not a good thing for me. Lebron is only using Wade and Bosh, he couldn't get a title on his own. Dwayne did, yes he did have Shaq, but still he got one without a stacked team. Lebron needs to go back to cleavland.

QUOTE(#9):

They'll win it. As much as it pains me to say it, I have to call like I see it. The Heat are just too good not to win it all. However, with that said, if they are to win it all, they need to do it soon. With each passing year the pressure will get more intense, and Wade will be that much older, slower, and less explosive. Since the Heat absolutely need him to get it done, their clock is certainly ticking.

They will not win it all unless they upgrade their roster.

The Lakers Showtime was on the Court and not on the Stage, Bro.
