Turco looking for work, not ready for TV

08:26 AM ET 09.07 | Even if television work is in his near future, Marty Turco isn't ready to put on the coat and tie for the cameras every day just yet. [Turco] hasn't signed with a new team but isn't ready to retire. "Yeah, I'm still looking," the 36-year-old Turco said via phone on Monday. "Teams go to camp next week so we'll see." Turco's hopes probably reside on a training camp injury or underwhelming performance either by a rookie or other veteran. "I want to play some more," Turco said. "I still think I can play in this league. I'm not ready for plans after hockey just yet." Turco signed a one-year deal with the Blackhawks last offseason after a decade of mostly stellar work with the Dallas Stars.

Question remains....is he better than Mike Milbury and Pierre McGuire? I know that should be an easy task for just about anyone....but you never know, someone might find that "anti-diamond" in the rough, who's actually worse than the two of them....

Re: Marty. He's pretty quiet and soft-spoken (almost shy) when behind the desk...He's not bad. A bit awkward.
I hope he has a couple more years in goal. There are teams that don't know they need him - But, believe me, they need him.
Re: Jets' jerseys. Fugly. Generic. Shoulda gone with (Canadian Maple Leaf) RED...Not, Dark Blue; so dark it looks like black. Meh...What do I care?
Jets' fans (and Canadians in general) are getting overy defensive (already) about this.

That should not be too hard. My 2 dogs are better than these two and especially Emerich! Eddie Olczyk is the only reason I don't mute the sound during NHL on NBC...

Well, they are kinda bland for sure. Tho, it seems that the players could get on any Canadian Air Force base with ease ;) And, couldn't they come up with a unique logo without having to borrow so heavily from the AF logo?
