It's really hard to not think that Carroll is blowing this season to get his hands on Andrew Luck or be re-united with Barkley. I mean no one else in the league thinks Jackson is barely above a serviceable back-up, and with Charlie Whitehurst obviously outplaying him in the preseason he still sticks with Jackson? I know it's hard to believe a team, any team, would purposely blow a year... but in this case I can't imagine what else is going on.

Pete Carroll is going to succeed at one thing this season. Getting the #1 pick to draft Andrew Luck. If that in fact is why he is employing 2 fourth string QB's, then he is a genius.
