Lucic questioned after shouting match with girlfriend

08:27 AM ET 09.08 | Milan Lucic's being questioned by police Tuesday came down to a misunderstanding. That's the word from [Lucic's] girlfriend, Brittany Carnegie, after police responded to a report of a fracas involving the Bruins forward and Carnegie. Lucic was not charged in the incident, which was first reported by the Boston Herald, but witnesses told police they saw the 6-foot-4, 220-pound hockey player standing over Carnegie as she lay on the sidewalk on Commercial Street in the North End at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. [Wednesday], Carnegie took to Twitter to defend Lucic. "Ppl can believe whatever but I assure you this was blown out of cntrl," she tweeted.

Lucic = Out of control (or cntrl as you twitted)
Incident = Blown out of proportion
And did you happen to wear a Canadien jersey at the time? I mean, "witnesses told police they saw the 6-foot-4, 220-pound hockey player standing over Carnegie as she lay on the sidewalk on Commercial Street" Sounds like someone got a bodycheck.
And I do hope Lucic has a good explanation for this. I'd hate to see another thread in two days' time about how this has happened before.

Ya think Brittany has some experience with these sort of "scrimmages"? Personally it sounds off-setting minors to me. 2 minutes for roughing to Milan and 2 minutes for "irritating" to Brittany.

Cheer up. On the plus side I read where Cuomo and Bloomberg have announced that the drought is pretty much over! Driving back to Ohio from Maryland after the MD - Miami game I saw this guy leading animals onto this boat off the PA Turnpike. Made me nervous.
