09:32 AM ET 09.10 | Having already received unanimous Los Angeles city support, Tim Leiweke on Friday completed an amazing week in Sacramento, winning state legislators' approval to speed up the environmental-impact process in building a new convention hall and downtown football stadium. If Leiweke's plan stays on track, and so far it's proceeding at warp speed, L.A. will have an NFL team here in time to play next season, with a the new Farmers Field stadium opening in 2016.

While Cowboy fans are frustrated with some of Jerry's moves, moving the team out of Texas might get him killed.

Still don't understand. "It's a big television market" is always the reason given. Yet when they have blackouts, which history tells us they do, they lose a game in one of the biggest television markets. Now with two teams what happens if in the future both teams get blacked out? No NFL in the biggest television market. LA is better without it. It's not there's been a huge movement by the fans over the years wanting a team.

Of course, two years later the Jags will be moving to Minnesota.
