09:22 AM ET 09.11 | Joel Segal, agent of recently retired receiver Randy Moss, confirmed Saturday that he has not been contacted by the New Orleans Saints, and to his knowledge, the team has expressed no interest in his client. WWLTV.com reported that Moss visited the Saints' facility Saturday. The report came two days after Marques Colston, the Saints' leading receiver last season with 1,023 yards, suffered a broken collarbone in Thursday night's season-opening loss to the Green Bay Packers.

They'll downplay it. New England has been working the media really well on the Haynesworth signing.
Every time I read an article about Haynesworth failing a conditioning tests, struggling in practice, etc. New England releases a positive story, claiming Haynesworth is fitting in well with his new team and excited to save his career.
The stories about Haynesworth coming out of New England don't add up. I get the impression that he's not coming along well, and they're trying to cover up his failures.

If JJ is serious about Garrett having the final say on personnel, it will never happen. That's a big IF though.

This is a life lesson for Moss. You can get away with being a truculent prick so long as you're better than everyone else. However, when your skills start to fade, that act wears thin.
