08:02 AM ET 09.12 | Dez Bryant, after Sunday's loss, might not be returning punts much anymore. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hinted as much after watching Bryant go to the locker room with a tight quadricep. "He got limited on the punt return, according to what he told me," Jones said. Bryant said he wants to continue to return punts, but he won't if Jones doesn't want him to. "I love doing it. I just felt like, 'Things happen,' and I feet like punt return, I love it a lot. I feel like any moment, I can make a big splash on it. But it's whatever Mr. Jones wants. He doesn't want me doing it? I'd be sad. I'd love to continue doing it. But hey, he makes the calls."

Stupid to have him back there anyway.

Same with the Iggles and Desean Jackson. Why let your #1 WR run them back?

JJ should worry more about his loser QB!!!!

So the other team can take them out. Although the odds of running back the kickoffs are becoming rare

Guys are coming 8 yards deep out of the end zone now.

UMMMM!

Visions of a completely unblocked Joe McKnight blocking that punt make up the best memories of this game

JJ should've made him take the train back to Dallas instead of flying back with the rest of the team.

Tell that to TRomo. Ffed up the game at the most critical time. F his stat line. the guy continues, in his 6th year to have freakin brain farts.

Amen.

With the impact of the kickoff returner so limited now, I have to admit I can see a coach wanting a bigtime weapon on the punt return. That's become the only way special teams can impact the game.

On an unrelated note, that Romo collapses under pressure like an aluminum can, doesn't he?

Agreed. Waiting for Jeff Hart to show up to defend his boy and start throwing more meaningless stats all over this board. The only stat that matters is a W.

JaMarcus Russell is certainly available if he can be lured away from his Purple Drank and Golden Corrall buffet.

Dallas won't do squat with Jones constantly meddling

Can't say jerry's wrong on this one.

Dez Bryant made Cromartie and Revis look like average cornerbacks last night, until he got hurt.

September 12, 2011  08:42 AM ET

WTF Romo! Did somebody forget to tell you that it's still September?

That said, let us not forget that Dallas had a pretty tall order walking into NY, on 9/11...opening night. I'd say they played pretty well. Then again, I suppose I'm just trying to the best I can, to fill in the huge hole that Tony ripped out of my soul, last night.

stupid romo, that's all ill say.

Romo....Romo....Romo......just continues to break our hearts. Whether it is the 4th qtr of a HUGE game, or the end of the season he just loses all functionality in his brain. That interception to Revis really made me wonder if he was being paid off, I mean really? Two turnovers at the end of a game where just throwing the ball away might have given us the win. The sad part is we all thought the offense was the strength and the defense would get us killed in this game.....with our numbers 3,4 and 5 corners in the game our defense still played lights-out. Wonder if the defense puts Romo's car on blocks on tuesday while he is in talking to JJ and Garrett...
