08:00 AM ET 09.13 | Osi Umenyiora may be out again, Justin Tuck may be out again, and now there's this. Hakeem Nicks may not be so fine after all. After undergoing X-rays after Sunday's game on his knee and wrist -- both of which came back negative, according to the team -- coach Tom Coughlin said the receiver has "some type of injury" with his knee. It [was] swollen [Monday]. "He's being evaluated right now," Coughlin said. "We know that he has some type of an injury there. We don't know what it is or to what extent." Coughlin said he does not know the extent of the injury. ... [Nicks] likely has a bone bruise in his knee, but no structural damage, according to a source familiar with the results of his tests. His status for Monday night is unknown.

It's not like the Giants didn't already have problems going into Week 1...

But the Rams are really beat up too.

Interceptus Rex tried to make an appearance, but fortunately the Giant DB didn't know what to do when the ball hit him right in the hands.

Yep. The prognosticators after only one week have solved all of life's mysteries for us. What have we learned? Grossman is the best quarterback ever to play in DC (Sammy who? Sonny who?), the Giants will go 0-16, Tebow will lead the Broncos to 15 straight wins, the Steelers will be tied with the Giants for worst record in the league and the Skins will win their first Super Bowl in 18 years. Tune in tomorrow for playoff matchups.

You're not Fat Rex, or Gross Rex, or Oedipus Rex or T-Rex. That's enough for me. Hail Rex!

The Rams have always given the Giants trouble (reference: see playoffs from the 1988 season).

Redskins fans are already climbing on the bandwagon. It will be fun to watch the lemmings follow the bandwagon off a cliff in the weeks to come.
