08:19 AM ET 09.13 | Jimbo Fisher, at least in advance of this week's showdown, isn't worried about attendance. "There's things you need to do to help our team. And that's part of playing in your own stadium and having success." On Sunday, students ramped up the excitement and anticipation for Saturday night's 8 p.m. game between the No. 5 Seminoles and No. 1 Oklahoma by selling out of their allotted 16,000 tickets in 17 minutes. The online lottery ended with many left scrambling to figure other ways to attend. "Knowing that our fans are taking this extremely serious just like we are, too, and knowing that we have added support and guys are behind our backs means the world to us," FSU quarterback EJ Manuel said.

Bray will have a huge numbers considering UTk's paltry TOP. Numbers that will be eclipsed by Florida's rushing numbers.

looking forward to it, a lot of unanswered questions. Florida has looked good on D, which they should...but against two mediocre opponents, albeit far better ones than a certain team from north Florida played in its first two weeks. Tennessee has suprised me and Da'Rick Rogers is the real deal, I had Cincy' picked for the road victory last week, and we saw how that went. The Bearcats are a step above FAU and UAB.

It should be quite the game something like from 98'-99' exciting and close...although I hope not.

At least that will be MUCH closer than the game last year!!

FWIW, I'm not so sure....look back over the last 5 yrs, Okie has lost a lot og games to good teams on the road. Not sure how I'm gonna pick this one

Good observation and I agree WPS. I'm not totally drinking the OU kool aid yet. They are limping along in some positions.

Seth does have a point. FSU may be a year or two from that elite team status but the talent is there.

Tough game to pick.

3 big games in the Sunshine state this weekend..I had OU early to win this game.... I am thinking the gap might have closed some... If the game was in Knoxville, I wud take UTk..But I think the Swamp might be the difference..Miami and pOSU is a tossup right now... Good thing I dont have to pick these games right now

Give us easy games this week.

September 13, 2011  09:21 AM ET

its early but UCF beat Boston College 30-3, I looked at the remaining games on the schedule, they could go 12-0 or 13-0 with the conference championship game.

the only tough game left is @BYU on 9/23.

September 13, 2011  09:23 AM ET

whats the call...Michigan State vs Notre Dame

Michigan State close, and ND with another gut wrenching loss...27-24.

Brian Kelly is on his way back to Grand Valley State.

go noles go canes. OU hasn't really played well last few time in the state of florida. USC beating and miami a few years ago. so i'm not counting the noles out. both games should be pretty good.

LUS.....All three have to be in the pick-em

If you are taking suggestions, I would also recommend LUS/Moo State, UCLA/UTX, Auburn/Clemson, Wva/Maryland, Utah/BYU, Mich St/ND, and maybe a Ole Miss/Vandy or ASU/Ill.

Ought to be anohter fun week of games to pick.....

I expect OU to win but would not be surprised at a FSU win either. The game should be much closer than last year. Most people neglect to consider that FSU was in its second game in a brand new zone-based defensive system after playing man for over twenty years. Additionally the defensive scheme was basically the one OU's offense practiced against every day, as they are both Stoops schemes. Throw in the fact that OU plays at a fast pace and FSU's defenders were often still trying to figure out the defensive call and where they should be when the ball got snapped.

This is the second year in the system and they will be doing less thinking and more reacting. OU has been elite for over a decade though and FSU is just returning from the Lost Decade. We do have the talent to pull a surprise though and I would obviously love to see that.
