Would Miami trade Bosh to land Nene?

08:07 AM ET 09.13 | The Heat won't have much money to spend on free agents, which may make the dream some have of landing Nene merely that. The case for: Well, he's a free- agent, apparently enjoys South Florida, and could have a better shot at a title here than in Denver. That said, this is a player who opted out of $11.6 million in 2011-12. So how? The only way that could make any sense would be a sign-and-trade. But what exactly would the Heat have available in that regard, unless they are willing to throw Chris Bosh into a deal? The case against: The numbers just don't seem to work, no matter whether you're talking mid-level exception or some sort of sign-and-trade.

Denver will be stupid to let trade Nene for Bosh... trading Lebron will be the logical thing to do but Pat's in charge so...

Bosh is not a true center, Nene is. Bosh does not get injured as frequently as Nene and they both have periods during the game when they go idle. Your not going to get the offensive production from Nene that you get from Bosh, but you have Haslem to play power forward and teamed with Nene would give Miami a more traditional center/forward combination. When a guy gives up 11.6 million he must feel his value is much higher and in demand. If Miami don't acquire him then maybe Boston.

Miami is ideal for Bosh, he doesn't have to be the #1 guy.

Actually that would be smart for Denver and dumb for Miami. Thinking Bosh is the better player. If Miami was smart, the would rework the contracts of all 3 of them and bring Nene or someone else in VIA freeagency and create the "Big 4" lol. Surely that will be enough help for Bron Bron to get that ring.

At least Bosh still has both of his testicles.

In all seriousness, this would be a great trade for Miami. I can see it working well for Denver too, if the stars align just right.
