09:32 AM ET 09.17 | Kobe Bryant said that he's still considering playing overseas because an owners' lockout of players threatens to sabotage the upcoming NBA season. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar told The Associated Press on the sidelines of a youth basketball clinic in Singapore that he didn't know if there will be a 2011-12 season and hasn't ruled out playing abroad. "I could," Bryant said Saturday. "I'm playing abroad right now." Bryant said he may join informal workouts with Lakers teammates in the future, but that no such sessions have been scheduled yet.

QUOTE(#1):

Yeah right Kobe, you don't want to risk injury and plus you're too selfish of an indiviual to care or support your union.

The man is wise enough to know the players union is nothing but a collection of spoiled, stubborn, selfish fools. Not denying the owners are greedy too but when the owner can prove 23/30 teams are going broke and the players wont take a paycut who's really responsible? Should the owners just be stuck with an awful deal forever? The NBA lost over 300 million last year bro

I have a hard time believing that the top stars, the superstars if you will, will really agree to play for a team overseas.

QUOTE(#4):

I'm w/ you. No superstars that has a big contract is going to play overseas. Superstars w/ 1 year left on his contract would probably take their chance. These players know that there will be no season this year so why are they not playing overseas already?

Agreed. It's too big of a risk for the marquee players to go hurt themselves playing in Turkey, China, or where ever else they choose to go. Leave that move to the mid-level players, or the guys who just need the money.

The world is getting smaller, Bro.

QUOTE(#7):

Theres no denying you're right on your point, but all I'm sayin is Kobe's (no denying this) is a selfish prick who only cares about himself and what someone else can do for him.

You could replace kobe's name with any NBA name in that sentence, and it would still fit. For instance... "I'm saying is Carmelo is a selfish prick who only cares about himself..." "Kobe is a selfish prick" "Lebron is a selfish prick" etc. Not to many NBA players known for their self sacrifice, even the all time greats are selfish pricks.
