08:19 AM ET 09.19 | Don't pin Saturday's loss on Michael Dyer. [Dyer] wasn't part of Auburn's problems at Clemson during the weekend. In fact, head coach Gene Chizik sees the sophomore as a solution. The Tigers' rushing attack was anchored by Dyer, who gained 151 yards on 16 carries. The offensive line may have struggled with pass protection Saturday, but something changes when Dyer runs the ball. Chizik wants to see more. "I will say that is our thought moving forward -- that he will carry the ball more than he has been," the coach said. "That is conceptually where we are. That doesn't mean the defense is going to let us do that." Dyer is among nation's rushing leaders, averaging 119 yards per game. He has scored six touchdowns this season.

You have to pin the loss on Auburn's Defense, damn do they suck this year. If I'm not mistaken, I think they are giving up an average of 500+ yards a game. Where is that SEC defense??

yeah the D was pretty bad but the poor QB was also running for his life when he had to pass and he is no newton.

Yeah good point, as a good offense (ball control) is the best defense.

Auburn plays defense like UTK. Meaning they don't.

One WR goes out, then you guys have no offense left, that is what the announcer said, what's with this???

Good to see you back 0-6. I've had a hard time keeping these youngsters under control. In fact, they are totally out of control!

If you remember, Aubie didn't play D last year either, they just tried to outscore everyone. W/ the exception of the Ducks, they gave up lots of point to average to good offensive teams.

Thanks Deep Creek, sone very rough days. Geeeez, I leave you in charge for just a short time and look what all you let happen, tsk tsk tsk. I still tire out so easily now, that just changes you instantly. For you younger guys, having a heart attack is no fun, you do not even know what is happening, you pass out and wake up in the hospital and you do not know anything, for awhile not even who you are, nor the Wife or anyone, so, it has it's good side there too. But afterwards you are so tired, achey, want to sleep all the time, and don't care where. Then idiots wake you up for a shot, wake you up to give you a drink - have to drink it too, won't let you alone till you do, wake you for everything and nothing.

Damn, Colonel, I didn't realize you had a heart attack. Best wishes for speedy recovery.
