03:49 PM ET 09.19 | Manny Pacquiao made sure he'd catch the fight on TV. He didn't like what he saw. "Very poor sportsmanship," said the Filipino pound-for-pound champion in the aftermath of Floyd Mayweather's controversial knockout of Victor Ortiz in Las Vegas yesterday. Pacquiao said he didn't' see anything illegal with what Mayweather did because he thought that the referee, Joe Cortez, had already ordered the fight to continue. "It was not illegal," he said. Still, Pacquiao, a clean fighter, felt it was unsportsmanlike.

They should strip the title from Mayweather and leaving him with his 42-0 record and making him do a rematch with Vicious Victor Ortiz.

September 19, 2011  04:20 PM ET

The boxing committee should strip the title away from Mayweather and make them do a rematch. Totally unprofessional on Mayweathers part. He knew someone came that night to rock his boat.

Floyd Mayweather is an arrogant low-life. The most surprising thing about all this is why anyone would pay almost $60.00 to watch mayweather fight anyone except Pacman who will surley kick his butt. Signed, Big-mat

Mayweather is ducking Pacquiao. Plain to every boxing fan, everyone knows that Manny is the Champ and not Mayweather, EVERYONE!! GET IT MAYWEATHER!!

actually if Manny would just do the dam IOC standard blood testing the fight might of happened a while back. But im sure Floyd just wanted to get some action before he went up against the Pac Man.

I guess no one who posted how bad this seemingly damages Floyd's reputation saw that the "Vicious" (very loosely named apparently) Ortiz kid jumped up from the canvas head first and headbutted Mayweather in the mouth just moments earlier before the knockout took place? Where was the sportsmanship there? This kid was getting punished the whole fight. 70-26 total punches as well as 60-26 power punches Mayweather dominating both categories. You call that rocking his boat? The Ortiz kid mighta won one round the whole fight had he not been stopped. And the sad part is I'm not a Mayweather fan, just a boxing enthusiast.

It is true it was illegal, it was legit but it wasn't right. There are two questions that beg to be answered by Mayweather.
1-If you are the best in the world, why would you have to win that way?
2-When are you and Pac man going to fight?

I agree if would have won the fight, he is one of the best pure boxers ever. However, the way he won the bout was not the right way.

Manny already agreed to do the testing. The ball is in Floyd's court. If he is the best why not fight the best?

If Pacquiao would submit to the testing then the fight would be a done deal. If Mayweather really was trying to duck Manny the best way to expose him would be to say 'Ok fine I'll agree to the testing. Let's fight.' at that point Mayweather would have to put up or shut. Manny has offered several different explanations as to why he doesn't want to submit to the testing. If he wants the fight as badly as some here believe then why not submit to the testing? What drawback is there for him that would not affect Floyd?

Mayweather want the fight in his home State (Nevada) and Pac Man agreed to the blood test required in the state of Nevada, but that was not good enough for Mayweather, as he wanted additional blood tests that were "NOT REQUIRED", Pac Man said, why is Mayweather demanding tests that are not required where the fight was suppose to take place. If you get a chance, read up on the facts of why the fight never took place.

PAC agreed to up to 7 days and right after the fight. Peds are detectible even after 7 days. Don't believe the hype. I think what PAC offered is more than fair when the tests are purely voluntary when the boxing commission doesn't require it. It's really a mind game. Mayweather has to realize he's not the only draw on paperviews.

The only reason PAC doesn't want to do it the day of the fight because he feels it will affect his performance what he feels is what happen when he caught morales. He's not used to the testing the way that Floyd is. Butveither way the boxing commission should make it mandatory else it's just politics.

Good comment, IMO Mayweather wants no part of Manny and he showed it by demanding Manny to take addition blood tests that were "NOT REQUIED" by the Nevada Boxing Commission. Manny agreed to the blood test required in Nevada, but Floyd want more.

I agree, Floyd is avoiding Manny. Self preservation at it's best. Step up or shut up Floyd. I am afraid Floyd won't do either.

Mayweather asked for the additional unnecessary testing because he is a coward. He has no business asking for testing above and beyond what is already in place. If he were brave, he would never make such a request.

Floyd Mayweather should be punished for being unsportmanlike with the way he disposed of Victor Ortiz. As a punishment, the Boxing Organizations should make him fight MANNY PACQUIAO .. NO MONEY FOR BOTH OF THEM (they have enough already) and settle this stupid shenanigan once and for all ..

September 20, 2011  09:04 AM ET

Yeah, Floyd is a lowlife, Floyd is ducking Pacquiao, Floyd should give Vicious Victor Ortiz a rematch. All you Floyd haters hate to admit that Floyd Mayweather is the best. 42- 0. And he just made $40 million. So whose the fool. You hated Muhammad Ali when he was boxing, because he was a trash talker. Now you love him. Floyd is the bad boy of boxing and he's the moneymaker for boxing. Victor Ortiz was done. Instead of talking about the blatant head butt that could have changed the fight, you haters upset at Mayweather for knocking him out. I can't wait for the Pacquiao fight, so you can see how Mayweather is going to destroy him. I know you hate to see any Black man master a skill, but Floyd Mayweather defense and hand speed is something we won't see in a long time to come.

Muhammad Ali and Floyd are a bit different. Ali stood for something, Floyd stands for himself and money. Would Floyd stand up and not be drafted? Would Floyd walk with Malcolm X ? Not sure, but i would bet he would find a way to wiggle out of the draft that just like fighting Manny and only stand up for something if he was getting paid.

Floyd is a great fighter, maybe the best pure boxer of our lifetime. I actually enjoy watching him box, his style and approach to boxing is something of beauty. However, if you are the best you don't have to win the way he did. You can simply out box him.

The black man comment is not a example of critical analysis, but a very simple minded approach. Does racism exist, hell yea it does, look how Obama is being treated and how the educational system in our public universities is set up. This isn't about some one being a different color. It is about what kind of person you are and what kind of sportsmanship you show. Money is nice to have, but if you already have issues going on money is like throwing gas on the fire. Floyd has a lot of issues. One of which is dodging Manny like the bad cold.
