Cards already facing must-win

07:55 AM ET 09.22 | Were things just a little different, Kevin Kolb might be playing with the Seahawks against the Cardinals rather than vice-versa. "I think early there was some interest," Kolb said. "But there's so many games you just never know what the truth is. And then I think once it started to dial down, they figured out they wanted Tarvaris (Jackson), and that Arizona was the best chance for me. ... With Arizona at 1-1 heading into this NFC West division contest, Kolb said he and his teammates are approaching this game as a must-win situation. "You hate to say it this early in the season, but we're thinking of it as a must win," Kolb said. "I mean that's our mentality. And we're upset with ourselves last week in letting one get away."

Of course it's a must win. Without this, it's hard to get to 7-9 which will win this sorry division.

MUST WIN AT WEEK THREE??????

Come on, let go of the bong!

Few teams in this league are worried about being able to beat Seattle. I guess Arizona is one of them.

LOL you're right. Most of the wins these teams get will be within the division.

There's one problem with calling a game a "must win" this early in the season: what do you do if you lose?

Then the next week becomes a must win. They don't look very good but this is the Cards divison to lose. Seattle looks so bad ole Pete might trade for Matt Leinart around week 5. That should be about the time he realizes T-Jacks has no clue where the endzone is or how to get into it.

If the Cards win 7 they might have double the wins of everyone else in that divison.

Do they still have a team?

Come on Kolb, why the hell are you calling week 3 against the Seahawks must-win?

He was talking about his fantasy league. Nothing to do with the NFL.

I never heard this one....Lord knows we needed him. TJ is a disaster, which we all knew before the deal to bring him to Seattle. I have absolutely no idea what Pete Carrol is doing, nor does he, it seems.

Pick a Card. Any Card.

Is this your underachiever?

Cards already facing Who Cares.

I would like to see Beanie get at least 20 carries against the Seahawks on Sunday.

After giving up almost 1000 yds in two games, they're lucky to have a win.

KK needs to cut that hair; looks like a Boogie Nights extra.

Same thing a lot of guys do. Whine that the media misinterpreted your statement.

Shouldn't every game be a must win? I don't ever hear players say, "its ok if we lose this one, next week is the must win game."
